Paper is a material made from the cellulose in trees, plants or old rags. Alone the fibres are weak, but woven together they become strong. This lamp, itself a collaboration, recalls the transformation from tree to paper, and then back to tree again.

Lampshade was woven by hand on a four-shaft floor loom.
